Effective strategies to treat Stretch marks

In a human body, the skin is a type of organ that has the capacity to contract and expand as required. The skin is flexible but its tissues can be damaged if it stretched too much. It usually happens in abrupt growth of skin or quick change in weight and it results in tearing of dermis which is better known as stretch marks.   • Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) with ultrasound: This treatment is very popular nowadays. It is non-invasive stretch marks treatment that use a person’s own blood before surgery to extract platelets which are then injected into the cells that stimulated collagen and helps the skin to look tighten and impressive. PRP is coupled with an ultrasound device to give good treatment to the people suffered from striae.
  • Plastic surgery: If you have sagging skin that can be removed using any cosmetic procedure such as tummy-tuck then you can choose this option to remove the skin with stretch marks from your body. However, this is not always the case. A person who wants to undergo plastic surgery should be healthy and non-smoker. Also, always consider risks, side-effects and benefits of this procedure before using it.
  • Microdermabrasion: It is a painless approach used by doctors when it comes to stretch marks treatment. In this approach, epidermis or upper layer of skin is targeted by spraying and rubbing small exfoliating crystals on to the affected area which are then removed using a handheld device. This mechanism tightens and dries the skin.

Apart from these treatments, take healthy diet, always hydrate your skin, use sunscreen to prevent your skin from harsh ultraviolet rays and circumvent quick weight loss or gain as good stretch marks solution. Finally, consult with a well-qualified doctor who has expertise in these treatments. Especially pregnant women should be extra aware of using any alternative product or treatment used to cure stretch marks.
